Alert Thresholds
Recommended thresholds:
**BPI change:** 5+ points
Catches significant shifts without alert fatigue.
**Share of voice change:** 10%+
Notable change in mention frequency.
**Positioning flip:** Any
Immediate notification if you lose a head-to-head.
Adjust based on your competitive dynamics. Highly competitive markets may need tighter thresholds.
Responding to Alerts
When you receive an alert:
1. **Review the audit** that triggered it
2. **Identify the cause** - What changed?
3. **Assess impact** - Is this a one-time blip or trend?
4. **Plan response** - Content update? GEO campaign?
5. **Monitor** - Track subsequent audits
Don't overreact to single-audit changes. Look for patterns over 2-3 audits before major action.
